Our fight against Shaken Baby Syndrome

This site was created to raise awareness of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS). This is a vicious crime committed against the most innocent, babies and children usually under 1 year old.

I dedicate this webpage to my son Kyle, who is a survivor of Shaken Baby Syndrome.

This vicious crime has affected our family deeply as our son Kyle was assaulted when he was 6 months old in December 1999. The child abuser was convicted of two counts of assault, one count of felony assault and one count of misdemeaner assault in 2000. Kyle nearly died Dec 1, 1999, but luckily the wonderful doctors at Mary Bridge Childrens' Hospital saved his life.

 Kyle appears in this video.  He is the cute little boy in the Christmas jammies.  The lump on the side of his head is from after his brain surgery and they lump was formed by some of the blood that was still being drained from his brain.
